Taipei Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1

Taipei airport (Taiwan) has two Main Terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, connected to each other through people movers.

There are plans to built two more terminals, 3 and 4, and to built a rapid transit system to connect the terminals. There is a project to build a new Terminal Building “Terminal 3” to increase the capacity of Taipei airport and handle up 45 million passengers (by 2020).

 

Terminal 1

The Terminal building has three floors accessible for passengers: 2nd, 3th and 4th floor. It is divided in two concourses, A (north) and B (south).

- 1st Floor: Arrivals and Ground Transportation

- 2nd Floor: Arrivals

- 3th Floor: Departures

- 4th Floor: Departures VIP Lounges

 

Concourse A

It has gates from A1 to A9

- Automated External Defibrillator

- Massage Services

- Butterfly Garden

- e-Library

- Smoking Room

Concourse B

It has gates from B1 to B9.

Both Concourses are linked to each other by a main building.
